Dylshouse and the general data protection regulations (from May 25th 1018)
Dylshouse holds the following data on its customers:-
PAPER (Hard Copy) DATA
For Business and Tax purposes we are obliged to keep details of each customer order for a period of 7 years after which they are destroyed.
These details include:
a) Name and postal address of the customer
b) Customer phone number and email address (if given)
c) Details of the order made along with the order date.
Note - These paper copy details are kept securely and are never passed on or shared with anyone outside Dylshouse and are destroyed after a period of 7 Years.
A) A simple electronic dadtabase is kept(Access) allowing us to allocate to each customer a reference number for easy future reference to the customer order.
This data base includes the following data only:-
3) Postal Town
5) Date of Order.
Note - The electronic database is for internal use only and is not shared with anybody outside Dylshouse.
B) A monthly list of orders is kept on a spreadsheet (excel) which is updated when new orders arrive. This spreadsheet includes the following data only:-
3) Reference number (see A above)
4) Order value details
Note - This electronic spreadsheet is for internal use only and is not shared with anybody outside Dylshouse.
Please note it is the policy of Dylshouse not to pass onto any 3rd party or person outside of Dylshouse any personal details that we hold or to use those details for marketing in anyway.
Furthermore we do not use photographs, names etc recieved from customers on our website or facebook, instagram or twitter pages without their permission.
